this is last minute but if anyone is interested this sunday a few of us are going riding keithsburg was mentioned but not sure where it is? it sounds like mojo could help me out in that department. i plan on leaving QC at 8:00 am. let me know if anyone else would like to go that would be great

I haven't been there in a WHILE and only been there twice. I copied these directions from another website, but they sound right. When you go down the last road you will pass the "horse campground" and it is just past that on the right hand side. This place is also known as "Sandy Oaks". When you get there, stop at the first building on the left hand side (you will see it) and sign in. There usually isn't anyone there and the payment is on a "honor system". Write a review of the place when you guys get back, since we don't have one.
Get on hwy 67 at the Milan exit
-follow 67 to Viola
- turn right at the lights( or stop sign) onto hwy 17
- follow 17 to Aledo
- turn left at the second stop light ( next to the courthouse)
- follow this road 6miles to 20th Ave. ( you will go past the H.S. and 2 golf courses)
-turn right on 20th Ave.
- Follow 20th Ave. through Seaton and on to 100th St. , real close to 9 miles
-Turn left on 100st St.
- follow for 4 miles and and Sandy Oaks will be on the right , you'll see a sign

Do not plan on riding there on sunday because they will be having a race there that day. I'm planning on going quadless to watch. They don't allow casual riding on race days. Saturday early should be ok for riding, they will be laying out(taping) the course. WFO will be hosting a race there the following weekend too, not sure what day. EVERY year Keithsburg has a race on the last sunday of feb.

Jonesz, I am out for this weekend as well but have fun where ever you guys decide to go. It looks like you will have great weather if it doesn't get too muddy with the thaw!

Well guys, since you can't go riding there on Sunday I suggest going to Solon (Iowa City). When we were there last weekend there was A BUNCH OF SNOW and defintely fun to play around in for the Utes. I predict plenty of MUD to play in the "open area" if it starts melting this weekend.
I will plan a ride out to Keithsburg after Gob Hill since there is enough intrest in going to this place. Keep you eyes open for the new Keithsburg Ride date.

well keithsburg was a bust so we finally decided to use our 07 dnr stickers 1 last time at gob hill going to be at the gates at 9:30 already talked to vickie and she said they dont think the warm weather will cause a poblem.

Man that looked like fun! I didn't go because I didn't want to buy a sticker for just that one day! But I am looking very forward to the ride on the 8th. I hope they get there new stickers in on time! Great pictures guys!
