General Location: Within the city limits of Waterloo, Iowa. Take U.S. Highway 218 to Hawthorne Avenue, then east, turn immediately to your right and then left to jog around the local businesses. You will drive about 3 blocks to get to the parking lot. Description: This area has quite a history. It is surrounded by the Cedar River, which creates some nice riverside trails. there is a nice variety of riding throughout the park. Soon there are two motocross tracks, large parking lot and other features. Toilet facilities: Yes, handicap accessible portable toilet Emergency Phone: No Size: 180 acres Lodging: Great lodging is available at the Heartland Inn within 1.5 miles of the Waterloo riding area. This motel is very nice and the people there are great. They liked us so much they became associate members.
