A inactive mining area becomes Minnesota's first OHV Recreation Area
The City of Gilbert host the honors of being the first OHVRA in the state of Minnesota. The site includes approximately 1,200 acres in northern St. Louis County. This site features over 30 miles of recreational trails, scramble areas, training and special events facilities for use by off road motorcycles, all terrain vehicles (ATV) and 4x4 jeeps and trucks. All vehicles will be inspected upon arrival for state regulation compliance. All off-road vehicles must comply with safety and noise requirements and display current off highway vehicle registration.
