2006 Arctic Cat DVX250 Sport quad
Fully automatic, no shifting/clutch - with reverse. Has a single headlight and taillight. Electric start and pull back up.
We've had it the last 2 seasons, and took it on 5 trail riding trips during that time. We estimate it has 4-500 miles on it, total - it does not have a speedometer or mileage gauge. We bought it from the original owner and they had purchased it prematurely for their child who was not yet big enough to ride it so it was virtually brand new, rarely used when we got it.
It's in "good" condition, you can get on it and go. It's been through the mud, but always cleaned thoroughly after those rides, never abused. We just had it out during the holiday weekend on a 100 mile ride and there were no issues whatsoever. It's currently dirty, the weather hasn't allowed for getting it cleaned back up yet, but that's on the agenda.
Mechanically - it's sound. It will need some brake and possibly chain attention in the future, but just routine stuff. The fluids are fresh. The starter button on the handlebar did malfunction during a trip last year so my husband moved the starter to just below the seat as a quick fix since we were away from home on a ride - it's worked great with no issues so we didn't see any reason to change that back. Doesn't look cobbled up or anything.
We also have:
2002 Suzuki Ozark 250 Sport Utility
We bought it brand new in June of 2002, but it's had limited use, female ridden all of it's life and never been abused. It's a semi-automatic. You do have to shift gears, but there is no clutch. It's a 5speed with reverse. Single front headlight and taillight. Electric start. It does not have a speedometer or a mileage guage. We estimate it has between 5 and 700 miles total.
It's in "good" condition, you can get on it and go anywhere. It's rarely been through the mud, but always cleaned thoroughly after those rides, never abused. This one was also on the ride over the weekend -100 miles/dirty dusty, not cleaned up yet. (today! hopefully!)
It's mechanically sound. Fresh fluids and once over within the last month. Don't know of anything at all that it needs. The only thing I can think of on it -is the seat has a quarter size rip that hasn't been mended. Could put a piece of black tape over it and it'd be good as new.
It's a great quad. Hate to get rid of it, but our daughter is crying for a bigger one and in order to move up this one has to move out. Sorry the photos are so cruddy, they're the only one I have access to right now. SOLD
Both quads have current WI registrations that expire 6/30/2011. Transfers can be made easily - I don't know if it's $5 to transfer or $35 but either is a good deal. Insurance is also very reasonable on the both of these. I think it's like $50 or less a year.
We don't have an asking price on either of these, just make an offer. Or we are interested in hearing trade ideas:
We're in the market for 2 quads at this time. We would be interested in using the DVX as a trade/partial trade on either a Honda 400ex (03 or newer) or a Grizzly 660 (02 or newer).
Please email with any questions or to set up a time to look at and ride either of these. EMAIL: thederbychick@hotmail.com
Thanks for looking! Have a great day!
