Does anyone use a gps for trail ridding? How hard are they to operate and do they help?

Wow! I just saw this thread and realized nobody replied, so I'll throw out my two cents worth. Only a few folks that I know of use the GPS to ride trails, and that's only if it is a very large trail system or if they are hunters heading to places like Montana or Canada. Cad and I have a GPS, but we only use it in our vehicles, not on our quads, and ours is fairly simple to operate. I'm sure someone else on here has an opinion about these new fangled GPS contraptions! Lets hear them!

some places you need them. I have some trails. Bussy, Rufcorn, some wiscosin trails. I use it mostly to tell how much irode and just have a Idea of the trail lay out. When i was in wisconsin in june I used it and the trail map.
