Craig, Jason, Nick and myself all met at the Flying J in Davenport at 10:00am and then proceeded to Solon OHV Park where we met up with Matt. This was a beautiful, sunny, 35 degree winter day and we all had a great time. The snow was still quit deep but even though Nick and I only had 250's, we were still able to run with the big boys with only a few assists with digging ourselves out of a snow drift or two. Nick, Matt, Jason and Craig had fun with the hill climbs while I watched from a nice flat area (I'm not a real fan of the hills ). All and all it was a great day of riding. This was my first time to go to this park and I definitely was not disappointed! The following pictures are of how we spent our day: [img src="[/img] i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc73/Crispy061/SolonRideFeb08023.jpg"] Matt (Kockroach) preparing for take off! Craig (Cadman) he really did get some AIR! Matt (Kockroach) coming in for a landing! Nick (Mojo) Proving the Mojave actually does run! Jason (Sodbuster) trying to get wings! Nick (Mojo) packing down the snowy trail! Craig (Cadman), Matt (Kockroach), Nick (Mojo) and Jason (Sodbuster) taking a break while Dixiechick plays photog! Matt (Kockroach), Nick (Mojo), Craig (Cadman) and Jason (Sodbuster) still at break!!! Nick's (Mojo) infamous Mojave!!! Jason (Sodbuster) posing with his Honda Rancher! Three big surprises on todays ride! #1... Sodbuster shows up to the ride with a new quad! A Honda no less. Its about time you come around! # 2... I hate to admit it but I did see mojo's quad run and not bad at all! I know it was not on top of it's game and it still had some break in time it needed to do but I did eat a lot of snow running behind him. # 3... Cadman gets air with his utility more then once! One time I meant to do it and the second time NOT! No harm done quad and rider in good shape. That was the first time to this park and it was fun! I will go back this spring to see how it is with no snow. Matt showed us all how to get some good air on a utility with a snow covered table top. Man it felt good to get out and ride again. Can't wait for Gob Hill next month! ;D Dixiechick did a great job being photog.

FISHIN EXPO! ;D Boy ya all missed a fun ride Saturday! Yes I got a new quad! I had to get me a utility just so I could get around at the house with all of this darn snow. Cadman let me ride his rancher a time or two and I like it so much I had to go get me one. I think I pick out a good one. Sure did need it for this ride. I had fun riding with ya all at this park. The weather was great not too cold and we met some new members at the park. Hey cadman the quad run better when they are upright not on their sides Had a great time with ya all and hope I can meet more riders at gob hill. Dixie could you send me them pictures in my email the kids would like a copy and I want to us one on this forum? Thanks SB out!

Yeah EXFan you should have gone riding with us, looks like you aint gonna do much riding today! I am not so sure if you would have gotten big air on a 2wd, I sure couldn't get the speed up to jump it with all that deep snow!

Fishing Expo was boring though MAN I SHOULD HAVE WENT RIDING TODAY WHEN THE WEATHER WAS NICE!!!!The air comments were meant mostly as a joke but you have to admit they didn't do too bad for a bunch of utilities!! I have to ask, did your wife enjoy her Valentines day outing to the FISHING EXPO? You and Cadman really need to work on your romantic gestures!!!!! LOL ;D ;D ;D Anyway, hope you have fun on your ride today, you sure picked some nasty weather to ride in!!

I have to admit the Utilities were getting bigger air than the Sports (well I was the only sport). It was some REAL deep snow before the first table top so I was really able to get any speed up in time for the second table top! I made it there all day in my sport, but I tell you it wasn't EASY! Dixie chick called it quits at lunch time and the rest of us went back out. She was tired of getting stuck, and pushed threw the deep snow! HAHAHA I guess that Yellow Honda met its match in the deep snow! lol

After seeing how you guys were able to pack down the snow on the table top, I wish I would have went back out with you. I stayed back the last 45 minutes because I was tired of getting stuck in the snow every time I had to stop behind that green Mojave!! ;D LOL My little yellow Honda did just fine as long as I didn't let off the throttle, then I'd get stuck Actually, considering how deep the snow was, I think our quads did pretty darn good!!!

After riding yesterday with a bunch of 4wd buddies I am going to have to retract my statement about getting more air . I never got stuck but it was incredibly hard to get up any speed at all, I dont think I ever got past 2nd gear . It wasn't that great of a day but it was still better than sitting on the couch all day. My wife is the one who wanted to go to the fishing expo. hehehehe ;D. I'LL SEE YOU GUYS AT GOB HILL ON MARCH 8TH. ;D
