Getting up on my soapbox!
Most people that know me know that I am a big animal lover! With that said, just to have NO misunderstanding, I’m not a tree hugger or against hunting, I just enjoy having a pet such as a dog or cat in my home! Now this is where I’m going to go off on a rant for a little while! I have a REAL problem when I see an ad placed like this on a forum or newspaper, or any where for that matter!
This is the ad in question:
“I have four AKC German Sheperds that need homes. 3 yo. full black male, 2 yo. full black female, 3 & 4 yo. black/tan females. Moving in a couple of weeks, can't take them with me and don't want to have to turn them over to a shelter. If you or anyone you know are interested please call XXX-XXX-XXXX”
This same person had posted a similar add some time back but the ad was for puppies that this person had bread to sell. The last part of the ad said the same thing, “can't take them with me and don't want to have to turn them over to a shelter”
This person makes me sick! They breed for profit and greed, better known as puppy mills, spitting out animals for profit and not for the betterment of their specific breed! These backyard breeders have no respect for animals, just money! Sure some times people have to give up a pet because of several different reasons and I can understand that, but in this case, this person has used this same ploy to get someone to feel sorry for her and buy her dogs just so she can do it all over again in a few months from now! Please, I beg of you, check out the back ground of the person selling an animal before you buy from them. By helping a backyard breeder you just keep them in business instead of being locked up! I’m sorry to have to get on this rant, but it is something that I strongly believe in and some day would love to see stopped!

I can't go to one without wanting to adopt, with those eyes looking up at you how could you not! ;D
Some people just don't get it!
So, they can warm up our cold hands and feet!
