I just thought I would share a tip with all of you. After working construction for many years I learned a little tip to help with keeping your clothes dry.
I spray my coat and coveralls with water proof spray for tents. It really repels water and moisture and also closes up some of the pores in the material to help with wind proofing as well.
The product I use is Atsko brand Silicone Water-Guard. You can get it at Wal-Mart in the camping area in sporting goods.
Try it and you won't regret it.

Thanks for the info WW, will have to try that out! I'm still waiting to try out the bread bags theory to see if they will really keep my feet warm. Plus also the surgical gloves keeping my hands warm. Now just bring on the weather! Can't wait to go riding! ;D

Pooh I can tell you from experience Don't try the bread bags and gloves. I did that and like to froze to death. The plastic and rubber gloves DO NOT BREATHE and causes your hands and feet to sweat and no way to wick to moisture away.
