A couple of friends and I are going to Brushy Ridge near Astoria, il. If you've never been there this is a great place to ride, has a track and lots and lots of trails. It's a little over two hours to get there. I'll post when we're leaving when I find out. See ya.

Whats needed to ride there? Any age requirements? Where do I get a sticker? I'm not sure on the stickers but if the website is still up and running ( brushyridgemotosports.com/index.html) you may want to check it for info! The second thing is Brushy is not a place for young rider without alot of experience! Lots of very dangerous hills! On a scale from 1 to 10.... I would say about a 3 on the over all park! Just ones opinion and some may say it all depends on your riding style and experience.

Last time I was there it was $14 a day. The web sight says $15 so they must have raised it. No sticker last I was there, just their fee. Yes this place is challenging I wouldn't take my daughter there, but she has little experience. don't know about age restrictions but I've seen kids there and there's plenty of easy trails. If your a good rider it's a blast, I can see why cad wouldn't like it. I ride a sporty and love the motocross track. This is one of my favorite places to ride, I'd give it more like a 7 or 8.

Just as a side note: two GOOD riders had to take a helicopter ride out of that park last year! Just sayin!

They must have been related to YOU! Anybody with any kind of decent riding skills will do fine at this park, I guess this excludes cadman! I'm guessing at St. Joe the majority of your (cadmans) time will be spent in the sand, since your afraid of hills!

PM from themacs4 to me "You know, I was just trying to get some people together for a ride, you know the old saying the more the marier, but for some reason you want to tell everyone how nutsy of a park this is. This is one of my and allot of other peoples favorite places. I don't appreciate your comments on this park, after reading them I'm not sure if I would want to try it out if I've never been there before. Every park YOU'VE ever been to has had someone get hurt at some point. Oskaloosa hospital said they average one per week when my friend got hurt. If you don't like the place why don't you keep your comments to yourself, I'm sure nobody will want to meet up with us now thanks to you comments!" Comments from me I see! This comes from a PRO rider! Grow up! If you don't like what has been posted on this forum I'm very sure you can find some where to post your rides and your comments! My comments are all facts about the park. Do i like the park? Not in the least! But that once again is just my opinion! Yes I have been to the park a year ago and I said I would not go back. If you would like a list of reasons I will be glad to give them to you and have more people then myself tell you the same thing! I don't remember posting to anyone to not go to this park and or calling the park nutsy or anything of that kind! Oh and just one more thing this is a quote off of the Bushy Ridge home page! "Park Information Brushy Ridge has over 20 miles of trails with lots of hills. Some hills will test even the most skilled riders." brushyridgemotosports.com/about_us.htmlAnd no where on the website will tell you how big the park is! It just has 20 miles of trails!
