The Illinois off road advisory board recently had its Fall 2010 meeting in Springfield. It was discussed that the Spring 2009 applicants grants request that were recommended by the board and signed off by the director were yet to be approved by Governor Pat Quinn. At this time the board has exhausted all resources in getting these grants approved and paid out. We need your assistance in getting your club members / patrons to contact Pat Quinn and urge him to sign off on the grants that we as a board have recommended so that Illinois can improve and expand its recreational vehicle parks. Please have your contacts call Governor Pat Quinn at 217-782-0244 or email him at Pat.Quinn@illinois.gov and urge him to approve the grants that the board recommended in 2009 so the riding parks can expand and improve the facilities for the public. Hopefully this will help get things moving and provide you with the grants needed to acquire and improve the states riding areas in 2011. Attached are the 6 recommended grant applicants request that were recommended in the Spring 2009 meeting. Please take the time and effort to make this program effective for the public use of the off road riding parks in Illinois. John Roth Illinois off road advisory board
