F.B.I. if you are coming down this weekend. let me know. I might have you help me get ready for Sundays ride. I have been in the feilds driving a tractor. so haven't had time to look at trails or get bath rooms dewinterise. shelter house is still full of tractors. trash bags need to be put out on trails.lots of other things. this is why we don't open untill May.

Had a blast at Papa Smurfs Smurfwood trails... Went down early Sat. morning and set up camp... Helped Don put out trash bags, signs, fences, barricades, and rode the trails clearing out logs and checking trails. We were both pooped at the end of the day,I got too much sun. Sunday morning we finished puting up signs and tents and tables.Don got his tractor out and smoothed out a rough section. When the crowd got there I hooked up with Don's son in law Kevin, and we rode all day checking trails, picking up trash and just making sure people were not being ignorant. Ate a good lunch of pulled pork, beans, and slaw for 6$ Polaris had there machines there to test drive, everyone loved the Razor Sport...I didnt ride it...I would of had to buy one!! There was a trick gun shooter there who put on a fun show also. There was a pretty good turn out for the event I think 60 -80 paying riders and then everyone else with them and the polaris people and food venders.... If you have not been to Smurfwood trails you should try to make it...The trails are very nice, well maintained not rutted up or rocky/rooty...Don maintains these trails very well...there are plenty of mud holes to play in also... He has a cabin you can rent, camping area, lakes to fish in... Check it out you will love it Thanks again Don for your hospitality and everything else ...see ya soon
